How to Support Someone with Anger
In this video Brendan Mooney Psychologist talks about how to support someone with anger. Given those with anger issues are actually deeply hurt and are trying to protect their hurt by using anger, a delicate approach is required that offers space for the other to feel safe enough to drop their protection.
Supporting someone with anger does not mean becoming submissive to the person with anger in any way, and it does not involve fighting them either. The key is not so much what we do around the person with anger but in the way we are with them.
