Podcast 2: Introducing men and sensitivity

Brendan Mooney Psychologist talks about men being innately and deeply sensitive, in fact equally as sensitive as women. However men are terrified of expressing from their sensitivity because it goes against everything they have been told, either overtly or covertly, a man is allowed to be in this world.

Podcast 3: Introducing women and sensitivity

Brendan Mooney Psychologist describes that whilst women are generally more communicative than men when it comes to relationships and talking about issues, they too need support on how to express from their sensitivity which is very different to expressing from emotional reaction.

Podcast 4: Simplicity vs. overwhelm

Brendan Mooney Psychologist introduces the power of simplicity when it comes to feeling overwhelmed in and by life. Given the many intensities and factors that we are constantly bombarded with on a daily basis, is it possible to navigate through the miasma of complication with ease? Could it be that feeling overwhelmed by work and/or relationships is preventable?

Podcast 5: Walking brains? We have a body too!

Brendan Mooney Psychologist talks about how we cannot expect to think well if we are not supporting our body to be well. In other words, psychology is not just about the mind and changing our thoughts, it is about understanding that the choices that impact our body have a huge impact on how we think, perhaps far more than we tend to appreciate.

Podcast 6: Using circuit breakers when things get too intense!

Circuit breakers can be a useful tool in a relationship when conversations become too intense, they provide a way to re-connect to ourselves and hence prevent further escalation of the intensity. Brendan Mooney Psychologist talks about circuit breakers by clearly defining what they are and how to use them to navigate intense or conflict situations.
