​Brendan Mooney Psychology is not a crisis counselling service. If you are in a crisis, please contact your emergency services or local hospital for immediate assistance. In addition, the following mental health services may be useful:

Mental Health Access Line  1800 011 511

24-hour 7 days per week mental health connection and referral service that employs mental health professionals. This service allows you to discuss mental health issues regarding yourself or someone you are concerned about, including children, teens, adults and older people.

For information and self-guided treatment programs for a range of mental health issues including anxiety, panic, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder and post traumatic stress disorder.

24-hour 7 days per week confidential telephone service to talk to a mental health professional who will listen, provide information and advice, and refer you to additional services if needed. 
Email and internet chat service also available.

7 days per week crisis support telephone service including suicide prevention. Call Lifeline about suicidal thoughts or attempts, personal crisis, anxiety, depression, loneliness, abuse and trauma, stress or for support regarding friends and family. Text and internet chat service also available.

24-hour 7 days per week confidential telephone counselling service to support people impacted by domestic, family or sexual violence. Online chat also available.

Alcohol and Drugs  1800 422 599
24-hour
7 days per week confidential telephone counselling, support, referrals and information for those affected by alcohol or other drugs. ADIS counsellors are trained to work with people who are concerned about their own alcohol and drug use, as well as callers who are concerned about their family or friends.

24-hour 7 days per week confidential telephone and online counselling service for people aged 5 to 25 years. Website has information for children and young people, parents and carers, teachers and schools.
 
eHeadspace  1800 650 890  www.headspace.org.au
Free online and telephone service for young people aged 12-25 years and their families experiencing a tough time. The online and telephone service is available from 9am to 1am Australian Eastern Standard Time.
